FIRST..

Jam&Hop
This Jam&Hop was superb and definitely better than our FOC's one!
Lights were off and there were many great dancers present.
And guess who was there too?
Kenneth aka K-lock!
Yanti is like crazy over him. HAHA.
Yea had a great time dancing.
The TPDE was great too.
Hopefully can get in so I can come for next year's Jam&hop!

FO Sentosa Outing
I was supposed to meet Phantosians at 11.
And...
I woke up at 10.15!
Yea I know such brilliance.
Cannot blame lah.
The previous night was like this..

-Comes out from shower thinking of what I MUST do-
-Sits down on sofa and slowly talk to myself-

Me: Okay I need to wash my FOC top...
Then need to set alarm clock...
Then need charge my batteries for my camera...

Yea so that's what happened.
I didn't wash my FOC top and I didn't set my alarm clock.
Was too bloody loody tired.
But luckily Qiyang came over my house banging the door so I woke up.
And he told me he's going over to Vivo at 1.30.
So I had time to prepare and stuff.

Reached there and saw all the Venos people.
Felt so wrong standing with them because I'm like from Phantos.
Managed to know a few of them so it wasn't that bad after all.
Went to Sentosa together and I was like running to my Phantosians.
Yes I miss them THAT badly.

They were playing Captain's Ball and stuff.
So I went to find Rongbin and my new Venos friends.
Guess what happened?
They threw me into the water...
.....
Yes such wonderful people.
So me, Qiyang and Rongbin decided to drag one person into the water.
JERVEN. :D
Whole crew wet together. :D

After that Phantos were like playing games in the water.
I got buried in sand beside Shawn and Sean.
It was damn funny because they were like making boobs and dicks for us.

After that we bathed and went to Vivo.
As usual we went off to buy own stuff and meet up at Skypark to eat together.
So me, Singyee, Serene, Winston, Lionel and Serena went together.
At first Winston and Lionel wanted Food Republic.
But everyone said it was too expensive.
Ended up the Kopitiam the basement wasn't very cheap either.
Then Serena was lazy to walk to Giant to buy drink so she bought at Kopitiam.
She ask us to buy at Kopitiam too but ended up we just went to Giant when they went up.
So their faces were like.. GRRRR.
Hahahaha.

Sat down at Skypark with the others and we finally had our dinner.
The other empires were also there so there was like 200+ TP people there.
Then there was this small bunch of NYP people around 30people?
They started doing some cheers at a small group of people sitting near them.
So the 200+ TP people all STOOD UP and did all our cheers in their face.
Completely trashed them.

As usual we played games and I left with Winston and Jay.
We took bus 10 with Serena, her friend and Serene.
The bus ride was quite long but we were chatting throughout the journey so it was okay.
Reached home at some unholy time and was damn tired so I slept immediately.

School's starting tomorrow.
And I swear it doesn't feel boring or anything.

Business School Week Zero Day1
Met up with Jay, Jamie, Chye, Kent and Mingyang at Tampines Macs for breakfast.
Left for school and I went to meet Xinghuei and the others.
Haven't seen them in a long time.
So went inside TCC and saw many many many people.
It's like... 1200 business freshies?

So I walked to my A&F section and saw all my course mates.
Seriously, most of them look like... not enthusiastic at all.
So Week Zero felt just like what everyone told me.. boring.
Was only talking to YangQin.

I started really participating only when they ask for dancers for the cheerleading/dancing performance.
Went down with Rongbin and Harris.
May briefed us on what songs we're gonna use and stuff.
After that we all went to the canteen for lunch.

May sort of tested all of us by asking us to do what she did.
I swear I didn't know May could dance when I first saw her.
But yea, I tell you she's really a very good dancer.
So basically I stayed with all the chosen dancers/cheerleaders for the rest of the day.

Went back and people from TP Blazers came.
They came to teach us some cheerleading stunts.
Being the extraordinary strong dude (by this I hope you idiots know I'm just trying to comfort myself), I wasn't involved in any stunts.
So I helped out with mixing the songs together.
I tell you I was damn shocked after I finished with the mixing.
Because I went back into the room and everyone was like.. DAMN GOOD.

Then we didn't really have time for the dancing part because many people had to leave for dinner with their empire.
So I went off to eat with Phantos! WOOOO~
We all bought our own food and met up at Mushroom to eat.
Jacqueline was being an idiot when she was at McDonalds.
She didn't know what to order and she didn't know it was her turn to order.
So she went like..

"Ahh I don't know what to order. Do you have a menu?"

Then we were all laughing at her.
So we went back to Mushroom and ate together.
Played Handiplast and I finally experienced Serena's smack.
Bloody loody pain!
Still haven't smacked Jacqueline though.
Nevermind will definitely do it someday...


Phantos Dance King & Queen

After that I went back to practice with the dancers/cheerleaders.
Rongbin and Harris stayed back with me to choreograph the remaining parts of the performance.
And we managed to complete it only at 3am.
Yes it's 3am!!!!!
May and the others were really really very nice.
They got us drinks and stuff even when they're much more tired than us.
Thanks alot guys. :D
I'm not allowed to call them seniors and I don't know how to address them so I call them May and the others since May's in charge.
Haha.

Business School Week Zero Day2
Didn't get much sleep due to the practice last night.
Went to LT17 for some briefing by our course manager.
My classmates were like..
"Are you new?"
Because I wasn't with them the previous day for icebreakers and stuff.
So no one knew me.
The briefing was boring to the max and I couldn't stop myself from falling asleep.
I didn't have my lunch with my class so I didn't know when they went up to meet our CP.

Stayed with them for awhile and then I went back to the Cheer Squad. (I dont know how
I got this name but whatever)
Had lunch with them at the Business Canteen again and then back to practice.
Me, Rongbin and Harris had to teach the others the steps we choreographed last night.
Everything went well and we went to Bedok Reservoir where the annual TP Regatta was held.
I think we really did very well for the amount of time we practised.
We didn't win for the cheerleading competition but yea, seriously I think we did superb.
And guess what.
BUSINESS SCHOOL WON AS THE OVERALL CHAMPION FOR ALL EVENTS FOR THE FOURTH TIME!!!!
YEAAA. :D

Aight.
I guess this is where I'll stop for today.
I know I still have many stuff to blog about but I'm dead tired now and I have school tomorrow.

Yes I know my beloved fans you don't understand why I'm like so enthusiastically blogging about Phantos.
But really I'll tell you,
I LOVE PHANTOS MORE THAN I LOVE...

OKAY I LOVE PHANTOS AS MUCH AS I LOVE DANCING OKAY!

Was supposed to reach Dhoby Ghaut at 2pm.
Never late by alot la, just 5minutes.
But didn't see anyone there.
Ended up everyone was at the Purple line side.
I tell you.
I was damn bloody shocked when I reached.
Because EVERYONE went like.

"EH JONAS WHY YOU NEVER WEAR CAP?!"

I was like,

"WHY MUST I WEAR CAP?!"

Then I found out that they were like betting that I will definitely wear a cap.
Only Singyee and don't remember who said I won't wear one.
Hahaha they're lucky.
I just didn't feel like bringing a cap SOMEHOW.
And if you know me well,
I bring a cap with me everywhere I go.

After that everyone came and we were supposed to buy our own food and meet up to eat together.

So they were people trying to make that block drop off my head so I have to redo.
Evil people.

Most of the GLs came and we went to have dinner.
Did the same take away and meet up to eat together thing again.
I forgot the name of the shop I bought my food from but yea it was good.
Bought pretzels too and I tell you THAT JACQUELINE AH,
CANNOT STOP SHOOTING ME IDIOT AND STUFF ONE.
BLOODY HELL.

For dinner we went to Istana Park and we also celebrate Loulin's birthday!

Holidays are really ending.
School is starting.
Sian or not?
HELL NO.
I was never really excited about Poly to be honest.
I was really missing all the fun times during secondary school, the life and shit.
But after these 3 days at FOC really changed my thinking.

Not that I don't miss secondary times anymore,
I just don't get unhappy over it anymore.
And I really.. nono it's REALLY look forward to school life at TP.
FOC was really awesome.

BTW, for all those retards who don't know what's FOC,
it's Freshmen Orientation Camp.

about the camp.

FOC 08 TePolywood
Day 1

Met up with a few Ngee Ann Secondary peeps and left for TP together.
Still wasn't completely enthusiastic about it.
Checked out the empires(groups) and I was in Phantos. WOOOO~
Was in the same empire as Brandon and Elsen.
Went to queue like everyone else and everyone was like strangers.
Only talking to their own friends.
So everyone were in their respective empires and the GLs started teaching us some basic cheers.
Only a few were enthu in cheering because it was just first day.

Then we were divided into SUBempires within our empire.
We have Phannyx, Phancee and PHANTAZ!! WOOOO~

Icebreakers were next and we got to know a few more people.
Remembering everyone's names were really hard because you only ask their names and don't talk anymore.

There was supposedly station games around Tampines Central which is like super gayass near my house.
How near was it?
First station was the CC right below my block.
So if we really went there,
we would be able to reach there like very fast because I know the way around the whole area.
Sadly it was raining so they changed the locations to places inside TP.
Didn't really get enthu and stuff.

Making the empire flag was quite good.
We had to bid for limited materials to make our flag.
And our materials were..
White glue, colored paper, glitter and one unwanted top.
It was really nice working together to make the flag look good.
Especially the part where we all got fed up with using the chopsticks to apply the white glue.
So everyone used their fingers instead.
Yea our fingers did get sticky and all but that was fun.

That's our flag and the person holding the flag is Lionel.
He is the person leading the guys who were making the flag.
He really contributed alot and I really think he is a very creative guy.

End of Day 1,
Phantos was ranked 2nd trailing behind Komez.
Didn't have much emotions like happiness or whatever because we still aren't that bonded yet?

I slept together with Jerven, Qiyang and Brandon for the first night.
Brandon was disturbing Jerven and didn't let him sleep.
And according to Qiyang,
he couldn't sleep because I was all over him in the middle of the night.
Yes I know that sounds gay but yea.
He said firstly, I slammed my hand down on him at like 4am or so.
Next I started kicking him and last but not least,
I took 3/4 of his sleeping bag to use as a blanket.
All was done when I'm asleep.
Yea I know I rock.

Day 2

Day 2 was really better because we really had alot more fun today.
Started off the day with morning P.T.
Then we had station games around TP.
Running around and cheering as a subempire was really how we started to get closer.
We were like playing tug of war on a muddy field with peanuts, and many others when we were had to be blindfolded.
It was really fun.

We learnt the TP school song and hand sign song.
But the most fun thing we learnt was..
THE TP MASS DANCE!
Really was very very fun.
It may look horribly stupid but when the whole FOC is doing it together,
everyone gets so frickin high.
Oh and the chicky dance!
Daaaaaaamn fun.

After that they had each empire send out their 2 representatives.
A guy and a girl to blindfold themselves and DANCE.
Rongbin repped Venos and I repped Phantos.
Shasha was our female rep and dang she is damn good man.
Nobody in my empire knew I could dance and actually most of them didn't even know I existed.
Music came and I just DANCED.

Ended up me and Rongbin were in the top 3 and we got on the stage for the final 3 contest.
I wasn't really nervous since I was blindfolded and was already high after dancing like mad.
I was second and Rongbin was first.
Before he went back to his empire,
I went out, shook his hand and we hugged.

Performance night was next.
Me and Brandon had an idea of a skit.
But Jamie and a few other girls wants a dance.
In the end we didn't really get any solid ideas and guess who came to the rescue.
Lionel the flag designer!
He just told us to combine both of our ideas and he told us how we could do it.
The idea was simply brilliant and that really got my fullest respect.
The main role of our skit was a psychotic murderer.
I forgot who but someone said this.

"We need to have a person who don't mind being really psychotic on stage and I think you have no problems doing that since you already danced on stage in front of whole FOC."

Yea so I was the psychotic murderer.
The performance was rather good imo.
And after the second night,
we were still ranked 2nd behind Komez.

Day 3

Started off with a positive mood as we moved on to our last day at the camp.
We really wanted to be 1st so for the games on the last day we really gave it our all.

I started to try giving suggestions for the water games and I swear the water games are fantastic.
My subempire Phantaz were really working together as one and imo we did very well for all the games that day.
Oh yea Hunt-gry games were really great too.

Although the last day was the shortest, but it was definitely the best.
Because this is when everyone plays together, eats together, cheers together, discuss together, and represent Phantos together as one.

Sean was our Best Freshie and he really deserved it.
He led us to cheer when the GLs weren't around and definitely was one with initiative.

And guess what,
our empire got 1st after the third day! WOOO~
P-H-A-N T-O-S WE'RE THE BEST~

We were really very happy that we won because we really gave it our all and our efforts weren't wasted.
Almost the whole Phantos bursted out in tears.
I almost cried too.

After that there was 1 video for the whole FOC and 1 video specifically for the graduates.
A few of the graduates, mainly from the MainComm went up for a speech.
The camp was ended with a last Mass Dance and the whole FOC sang the school song together.

There is this tradition of going to the CPF building after FOC and just sit there and slack.
So we waited for our group leaders and facilitators to finish their debrief before heading to CPF building together.
Our empire went to the space outside the sports hall because it was too squeezy at the CPF building.
I stayed there until 4am with only a few people left.
The only few freshies remaining were Jay, Randall, Serene, Serena and me.
Then we had this gossip session and it was nice too.
Jay, Randall and me went for breakfast at Macs while the others took a cab home.
Although I didn't want it to end so quickly,
but it had to and I'm sure I really enjoyed it.

The Story of a Man and an Elephant

In 1986, Dan Harrison was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University.

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Dan approached it very carefully.

He got down on one knee and inspected the elephant's foot and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it.

As carefully and as gently as he could, Dan worked the wood out with his hunting knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.

The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments.

Dan stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away.

Dan never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Dan was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son.

As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Dan and his son Dan Jr. were standing.

The large bull elephant stared at Dan, lifted its front foot off the ground, and then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Dan couldn't help wondering if this was the same elephant.

Dan summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Dan's legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same elephant.

Alright,
for some stupid reason which I don't know of,
I'm going to tell you guys what happened today when I'm basically DYING.
Yes the word is DYING.

Today was quite simple and ordinary.
Went to O School for Locking class which was taken over by Ryan,
because Ian that fat wonderful flabby excellent massive locking instructor is in Taiwan enjoying holiday.
Fantastic.
But Ryan definitely don't lose out much in teaching.
He made the class laugh very often and I enjoyed his lesson. (not that I don't enjoy Ian's lessons)

After that went to practise.
Surprisingly, K-Lock was there and he gave me some tips for locking.
Thanks man.
Jerven and the others reach like in ONE FUCKING HOUR's time
and we practised together.

After that, went to CHIJMES to watch Liverpool vs Arsenal with Daohsen, Ekjun, Yanjie and Weishoon.
That place is nice.
Only complain I have is..
WHY DOES THE LIME JUICE COST FUCKING 8 BUCKS AND IS SO FUCKING HORRIBLE TO DRINK?!

Went to Katong next to play pool.
And yes we played until 12:49am and ran out to the bus stop.
So we reached the bus stop at 12:53 and guess what.
The last bus that we could take left 3 FUCKING MINUTES AGO.
So what other choice do we have?
TAXI LAH THEN.

Okay I apologise for the profanities used above.
One's mood is definitely affected when the body is severely fatigued.
So I'll definitely appreciate it if you guys appreciate the effort I took to blog.

Okay, I'm sure all of you was entertained by the picture above.
Firstly I apologise for not blogging often.
So today's entry will be filled with pictures to entertain my fans. :D

Today was a fun-filled day.
I met up with Yanjie first at Kembangan MRT before going to Marina to meet up with the others.
Exchanged my Pocky for sweets and lanyards.
Oh and did I tell you guys I have 2 cartons of Pocky?
I bet I didn't so I'm telling you now.
I have 40 packets of Pocky so I'm like eating it everyday. :/

Ekjun came and we had our dinner at Swensens.
We were like talking about stupid stuff so we're laughing non-stop.
And everytime we needed the waiter,
I'll raise my hand and go like..
"Hello~" in the gay way.
